Documentation explicitly recommends treating file_handle as an opaque structure. We deliberately overlook this guidance because within the pidfd filesystem context, the initial 64 bits consistently represent the 64-bit inode. Given systemd's existing reliance on this behavior and the kernel's user-space compatibility guarantee, this constitutes established API regardless of documentation warnings.
